All day-long courses have one hour lunch breaks. To be eligible for certification of courses students are required to attend at least 80% of the course and actively participate in the course. A student may be dismissed from a course or programme if behaviour is deemed to be unacceptable. Students must comply with the registration procedure as stated in this document.

We are committed to quality in our courses. If you have a complaint in relation to any of our courses, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to contact any of the Directors. Course Fee Structure and 5% Discount

Course fees are a direct reflection of the principles and philosophy upon which the HD&T Institute is based.

Our priority is to provide excellent training in the fields where people are helping people and working collaboratively. We aim to provide this by engaging tutors of high quality in their respective fields and with strong abilities in promoting experiential learning. We work consistently as a provider of training to reward tutors appropriately; also to keep a fee structure for trainees that best produces the widest possible access to what we believe is the highest quality training available in these fields.

Our intention is to have small class numbers that are suitable to rigorous experiential learning and to have course fees as low as is feasible, particularly for those who are our primary customers (those who commit themselves to completing certificates and diplomas). For participants enrolled as students in our Counselling and Family Therapy Diploma, Counselling Diploma, or one of our Certificate programmes, we will provide a 5% discount on any payment paid before 30 April 2008, if this payment is full payment for all the courses the student intends to attend in 2008, and the payment exceeds $1000.
