Transactional Analysis Counselling Training
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY DO ONE, SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING COURSES
Transactional Analysis (TA) is a comprehensive theory of personal growth and social interaction, immediately useful in family life, relationships, counselling, psychotherapy, education and organisations. Stage One stands alone as an introductory course, open to everyone. Stages Two, Three and Four form a sequential programme within the framework of the HD&T Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy and Diploma in Counselling, along with other theoretical and practical training. Altogether this TA Certificate course involves 90 hours in class and at least 60 hours of self-directed study, along with supervised client work. Both tutors hold international qualifications in Transactional Analysis. Students who complete all four stages of Transactional Analysis training with HD&TI to a satisfactory level may apply to be awarded the HD&TI Transactional Analysis Counselling Certificate (150 hours).
Note: External counselling students or practitioners may apply (where there are vacancies in classes) to do this Certificate programme, as an extension of other training.

You will discover many of the patterns of communication and behaviour you have learned in your personal history, and how you can make positive changes in your relationships. Textbook: Born to Win by M. James and D. Jongeward. Assessment is based on self-analysis exercises done during the course.
